No stranger to challenging sites, Gottsmann Architects set out to make use of the steep site with northern views over the Jukskei River. The ground floor cantilevers dramatically over the site and seems to bring the occupant and the natural river within arm’s reach of each other. The architecture was informed by the site and its context, while displaying the architectural tectonics through scale and structure.
